For SoCal juniors...
« on: April 10, 2006, 12:33:44 PM »
I know this weekend is Easter weekend, and I do not know of any tournaments going on, so I figured I let everyone know. Some of the kids at Moreno Valley Bowl have put together a tournament for this Sunday. I dont know how great it really will be, but it is something. It is $25 and there is a scratch and handicap division. It costs $25 and there are two squads at 10 AM and 12 noon. It is four games across 8 lanes and 1 in 3 will qualify for the finals. You can bowl both squads if needed and semis and finals are kind of weird, so if you are really interested, just hit me up...Ive got the flyer. It says $1000 in scholarships based on 50 entries and handicap is 90% of 200.

Just wanted to let everyone know, peace...

Well they ended up putting out a regional senior shot, which was pretty hard, but playable from many angles. I dont know how it played out as fresh cause I didnt bowl till the second squad but they were pretty oily, and I was pretty much going the straightest that you will ever see me, haha. There were maybe all together 15 entries for scratch, counting a few re-entries, and Will Jackson was the winner for I think, $130 scholarship. I placed 2nd, with Matt Jones in 3rd, Nathan Urrutia 4th, and Brandon Mcginnes 5th.
