Erik,
It's not like Sam's Town where it's just a massive wall and almost any ball you have in your bag will work, but if you have the right "hand" and equipment, you should be able to do well. The higher rev players tend to use milder equipment and be able to use all the hand they want over there, and the straighter players can take out their strong balls and play their "A" Game, as well. It's capable of high scoring if you know what you are doing.
From the tournaments I've been to over there, their shot appears to be fair for all bowlers.
Speaking of Las Vegas, does have any idea what's going to happen to the Showboat? Tear it down and sell the bowling center equipment? What's up?
