I placed second in my state last year (and was the only one to beat the eventual champion in match play, although he beat me in the positioning round). I miss all the tournaments, adult leagues are boring. There aren't any GOOD tournaments anymore. Either the shot is PURE cake, and it's a carry contest, or you get overrun by handicapping sandbaggers. For as much as youth bowlers are dogged, I sure wish I'd have stayed.
