If you are caught bowling for money, whether the event is sanctioned or not, and someone feels like turning you in for bowling in that event, you will most likely be kicked out of the youth division.

I ASKED THE question mainly bc i got turned in for bowling in a color pin thing like if they end up in a certain order and you strike you win money and they said they couldnt do anything bc it was not sanctioned. my stand on it is how can you get kicked out of an organization for doing something out side of it

ok then let me change the question to has any one be kicked out of the youth league bowling in non sanctioned event for money. B/c like said it has happened before and they said they couldnt do anything bc it was non sanctioned. so were they just wrong then or what.

Find a Rule Book.
Check out Rule 400.
It is rather specific on participation of youths in bowling.
(Even if you are/were bowling in "pot" games you are subject to disqualification.)

I have seen 3 of the youth bowler's that I have coached in the past get kicked out of the YABA because they bowled in an event that dealt with cash. Sanctioned or not. You can be kicked out if you are reported. Now if the money is presented as a scolorship, different story.
