Question about USBC Rules.
« on: February 01, 2007, 04:33:05 PM »
My question is, if I am 20 and start a league, and turn 21 in october, would that make me no longer eligible?

I hurt my wrist when last season and havent bowled. I am ready to come back, but am not 100% ready for adults.

You can be in Youth USBC Leagues at age 21 as long as you turn 21 at a certain point in the season..  I think it is August or something...

It is in the rule book, I believe..  Look it up..

Your age as of August 1st determines your age for entire up-coming season. Hope you enjoy your last season as a junior!

As Kathi stated, if you are not 22 as of August 1st, you are still Youth eligible.  Example My daughter's birthday is August 2nd.  Had she continued bowling, she could have bowled as a Youth until the day before she turned 23. She would have been 21 on August 1st and therefore allowed to bowl Youth for another year.
