Laughlin Baker Doubles
« on: May 29, 2006, 12:02:21 PM »
Final standings:

1) Andy Byer/Bill Grant ($350 each)
2) Theo Douthit/Christian Jensen ($250 each)
3) DJ Sloan/Brandon Allred ($175 each)
4) Cayson Coyle/Nathan Panaligan ($75 each)

This tournament was awesome, with the exception of a few delays that could have been cut down had the directors been paying more attention. Other than that, I recommend that EVERYONE bowl this tournament next year. The double elimination bracket finals was awesome, very fun. Congrats to Andy and Billy on the win, and to everyone else that bowled well.

Ya'll are just upset because me and Andy led that tournament wire to wire including a baker 300! :-) Andy and I make a great team as it was only the 4th time we've made the finals in this tournaments 5 year history. carry there was pretty interesting as it is every year but if you stayed down on your shot and got it pure every time it was always rewarding as I found out early in qualifying where I shot 190 my first game and then shot plus 260 my next 5. every single time i stood up on the shot though it was wrap 10 every time. (1 of which I missed in the finals against theo and christian) the top 4 teams out there did bowl great all weekend long and it was an extremely fun tournament. we'll be back next year but we're shooting for 3rd place since we have a 1st, 2nd last year, 4th 4 years ago, and a 5th 3 years ago!! . . . Peace and Chicken

man what the feeezeeee is going on about this whole carry situation... it doesn't matter who won, won and who lost, lost.  It's over.  Let it be just learn from your mistakes and it's a wrap... This post was about laughlin final standings not carry.

I don't even know what to say about all of this...

Oh ya....I'm left handed! Thats why!

remember our song Theo?

We got the whole lane
In our hands
We go the whole lane
In our hands
We got the whole wide lane
In our hands
and we get lots of carry....
la la la

Last line needs some editing....

thats the lefty song!

Nope, I have always learned that even if a righty wins, it is still known as a lefty house.  .....oh! and since our ball comes in from a different angel, the pins seem to fall easier, why is this????!?!?!?

i agree with theo, this stuff about lefties is annoying. Yes lefties do have an advantage but that doesn't take anything away from them. Some lefties or just good =D like theo hahahaha.

It is fun though watching lefties when/if their shot breaks down, because they get all confused when they gotta move like 5 boards right. I think the whole theory with lefties carry better is because no doubt, the more straight up you play with the lane, the better angle you get of carry and pin action.  Alot of the time us righties that are swinging the whole lane, get so much angle, we get to much and wrap 10's all day and slam alot of 9's, so I think that is why they get more carry because they are playing the better angle and we simply can't, because our oil doesn't last that long, and we all don't like throwing our super trooper by the 3rd game of qualy

P.S. any of you see the Spiesman try to swing the lane, now that is a site too see love ya bro
