Shocker Camp.

Anyone going to this this year? Me and my buddy will be down there this year, he went last year and convinced me to go this year.

Nope, alls i knwo is if u pay 100 extra u get a ball or dexter shoes.

Its 425 for the weekend camp which 4 days long. That includes room, breakfast, lunch and dinner(i think). Your room is on campus. You share a room wiht one other person, 4 ppl share bath and shower.

I think they said u bowl for 1 hour 30min then go into the class room for that long and u basicly bowl all day. You get a vid of ur self bowling and and thick bookelt telling u how to read lanes, and they teach u about drilling balls etc.

Look up shocker on on google and go to their site and u can look up info on the camp.

Its suppsoe to be all sport shots and pba patterns. I guess its a 8 lane alley below a fun center, nice wood lanes. So now i can suck it up and learn at the same time

I went there three years in a row (the last time was 2001). It was alot of fun and it furthered my game.

Like he said you get free cafateria food which includes soda, pizza, cerial, etc. I would recomend not eatting anything but pizza and cerial. Every year I went down anybody who ate anything else had the craps. One bathroom for four people is not good.

Here is what we did. Woke up about 6:00 or 6:30 and went down to eat breakfast. After breakfast we walked about a mile to the rec center from the dorms. First half the people would go to class and the second half would go bowl. Class you learn alot about mental game and get to watch a couple movies, you get to learn to find your pap and basic layout to make your reaction good for you. Bowlers will be there for an 1 1/2 or so. The bowling group will start out by doing some stretches and calastinics usally in the pool room. Then you will bowl. After each half of the class has done both you walk back to go to lunch and do it all over again. But after dinner you go to bed.

Remeber if one person gets in trouble you usally got to go do some calastinics.
