Smart Fund site
« on: August 08, 2005, 12:36:14 AM »

Does anyone else find it kind of rediculous how much the smart fund website has been pushed back?  It almost seems like something that's completely on the backburner.  They've kept the same message for the last few months, just changing the date it's expected to unveal.  When I first started going there, it was saying that the site would be opened up June 31st.  Then I go back around July 4th or so, and it was changed to July 31st.  Now, 8 days into August, it still says July 31st.

Anyone know another way to request how much you have in your smart account?

Yeah, I too, have been following the site, waiting to see it all updated and ready. To see how much in scholarship that you have, e-mail egocha@bowlinginc.com. Just put your name, and I think your social, and ask how much in total that you have.

Hello,

I can't resist.

For those of you who wonder why we feel 'SMART' isn't terribly SMART, I present this thread as example #4,357...

Thanks,
Jeff

p.s. there are many fine people at YABA...er...USBC HQ, but nonetheless, well, I said it already.

Lol... Don't sugar coat it jeff, just tell us how you really feel... just kidding.. this is exactly how me and obviously a handful of others feel too.. i always thought it was bad back when it was YABA, but I had some hope that USBC would make it a little better... guess i was wrong huh??

Yeah, apparently our local area tournaments have over 60 g's in the unused scholarship fund, and I doubt we're going to see much of that at all...
