I had 1311 for my first set at Boca Raton. Bowled about 4 lanes from Mushtare, that was fun to watch. Not a bad game, but definitely not 4 900's good. He struggled today (played about 10 boards too deep all day), and he will continue to struggle tomorrow on the long pattern if he continues to try to swing the lane.

+171 at Boca Raton....299 in the process.
The shot is on the one board. I played 2-1 the entire time and only guttered 3 times. Pretty consistent I would say. I am pretty sure I am top 5 but no guarantees.

I'm tied with Mushtare, lol. Bowled at University lanes, threw the wrong line first game, after an adjustment and a ball change, started wacking them. Nailed water on my heel and sole doing the lane switch across the center, so I had to go with an Undersized 2/2 combination, which faired well enough. Hit some inconsistancies lane to lane that made it difficult to find a groove. I'm feeling good about my performance though. -54
I'm happy that I'm clean on singles and made a few good splits yesterday, including the 6-7-10. Made a few bad mistakes, like I shot a 167 missing a 1-2-4 in the 10th. Wound up racking two misses on that spare in the day. All in all though, I'm finding myself getting very comfortable and able to repeat shots. These next two days should be interesting to see what happens.

Had a pretty good day today. Averaged around 22 1/2 mph on my strike ball, and found a line right off that was spot on for the whole day. Missed 5 spares on the day, and Definately moved up in the standings, because I went +21 for the day, which leaves me at -33 for the tournament. Tamarac is tomorrow, so I'll post you all tomorrow.

Kerry is solid! So is Ms. Jessica Worsley(16th I think), who bowls for my alma mater, University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Scores for the womens are a bit tighter than the mens so that side could definately come down to some interesting matches.

I was watching you a little day.
Should have came up and said hi. I was kind of disappointed that I didn't get to meet any BR members at this tournament.
As far as the tournament, I wound up in 96th place, which I feel is a pretty respectible performance. I felt I really threw the ball well. There was a point in mid day that I got to where I could hardly get up there and throw, because I was getting pretty exhausted. I finally surpassed that point and started throwing well again, but the carry just wasn't going my way. Also, starting the day with a 154, 174, 185 didn't help much. I started practice nailing 4 strikes out of 6 shots I took, and by the time we started, that shot was gone. I was playing in a high traffic area where the shot was changing a lot, so I pulled it all inside later and came back with 208, 220, 194. Started the second block with my NH Torque inside around 5th arrow and it was hitting hole, just couldn't get the carry again. First game, I started with 3 ten pins, a four pin, and second frame I had a 2-4-8-10 that I double kicked the 2 around the 10 pin... couldn't believe I missed that one, but I did pick it later in the day.
All in all, pretty fun tournament. Shot seemed more towards high rev players.

Yay I just got home, I missed cut by 5 pins, -167, pretty fun when i leave a 7 10 in the 9th frame of my last game, oh well, what ya going to do? If I only knew how to bowl in game 1 of each block, I would have been way up there, oh well, good bowling everyone and congrats to Mason for trying to make a late run for MP and finishing in the top 25

Congrats to all who made it and just missed out. This looks like one of the best jr teams ever(the year that Cole, Rash, Remak, and Fairley were the top 4 was pretty insane). Congrats to the O.G, and Robert Morris duo of Jason Wunderlich and Tim Phfifer. Both of those guys get downright nasty on the tough stuff. Also congrats to the womens team.
P.S: I heard some Jesse Hawkins(?) averaged 270 in the second chance tournament? That is freaking nuts. I check his scores for gold and he was about in the middle of the pack of the whole tournament.

The Gold Survivors tournament was insane. Heard there were 5 300's the first game and the first day there 12 300's.

For the Gold survivors, the word that was passed over to where semis was at, was that there was a total, between girls and guys, 26 300's and 4 800's. The kid Hawkins shot 807 and 843 with two 300 games. Devin Bidwell shot 807 as well, and at a different alley, Amanda Falk shot 296 817. The cut for both of the boy squads (take top 16 from each squad) was a 238 average, and that was 16th place each squad...yea pretty dead walled.
And Congrats to O'G and the rest of the guys team and the girls team, looks like a solid team...Maybe this year the winner of Guys Gold will actually get to bowl a tournament
