i just wanted to post this up early so people can make time to come to this great event... last year awarded of 10,000 $ in scholarship... 1st place in open boys was 2000 $ i believe.... its a 3 day event over july 4th weekend... right after JWTC and before gold.... and last year was on two different sport conditions...(only 3 people were plus after qualifying in the open boys), its 18 games qualifying and then cut to top 18 for 18 games matchplay then cut to top 5 for stepladder finals.... that was the format last year and could be altered this year who knows.... there is a boys division, girls division, and another division for the younger people heh.... the website is [www.firecrackershootout.com][/url]... it is at buena lanes in ventura, california and everyone should come out to bowl this one.... because it awarded over 10 grand... and had a total of less than 100 entries.... so teh more entries the more scholarship and more competition.....

Division #2 - Girls 15 yrs. and older as of May 31, 2005
Division #3 - Boys 14 yrs. and younger as of May 31, 2005
Division #4 - Girls 14 yrs. and younger as of May 31, 2005
entry fee for division 1 and 2 is 80 $
entry fee for divison 3 and 4 is 55 $
