I was there. Didn't notice this post until now. I'm so bitter about that tournament. They made the shot to where you can bump off of the track all day, just had to match up your ball to the fresh then later change as it dried up. I tried playing the lanes like I did the year before, laying the ball I think on 23 going to 14 for a break point with a good amount of roll. Did good the first game (245). Then my carry really began to suffer. Began leaving 4 pins like crazy, and kept adjusting. Board left here, 4 pin, another board left and one board left on my mark. Doing everything I can to get the 4 out, then I began ringing 10 pins. So I was basically caught in some weird zone where If I hit the ball a little flat, I'd ring a ten and if I caught the holes a little more I got a 4. Then the 9 pins came along with leaving the 4s and the 10s. Not pleased at all with my 630. I could have done so much better if I would have been like all of the other higher scoring righties in the tournament and bounce of the track or further out. For as crowded the tourney is, it still was ran well. Good job to those that did well out there, they deserved it.
