Storm Pulling Sponsorship
« on: February 10, 2006, 07:04:46 PM »
This past weekend JST in So Cal told us that they are no longer going to be sponsored by Storm as Storm was pulling out of just about all of their deals with junior tournaments...Did this happen to all of you guys wherever you are on here...and Jeff, did JBT lose their ball every tournament as well?

I think this is going to bite Storm in the butt big time because it makes them look horrible, taking away from the youth

GO COLUMBIA!

Silencer, here in Texas/New Mexico we are hearing the same thing.

Councilator, I hope the Columbia rumor is false. I dislike Columbia but love Roto-Grip and I believe their cores are rapped with Storm coverstock.

hopefully some other company would like to help out the junior program and pick up where storm left it and help with sponsorships... i think that would be really cool... and hopefully storm can get themselves in order and if columbia buying them out is what it takes then i guess thats what has to be done.... then columbia will finally have some new covers and cores to re use over and over and over and over  heh
but columbia has made plenty of awesome quality bowling balls, would just be nice to see some more new covers come out rather than re using M80 on old cores or seeing track/ amf use columbia covers and cores and calling them different....

but to stay on topic once again i hope that another company might get on teh idea of doing sponsorships with the junior program i.e leagues, tournaments and tournament clubs because it really helps the prize fund, its nice to have bowling balls to raffle... and its a good promotion to be known as being sponsored by a major bowling company

I heard Columbia is barely making it right now, so I dont know how they could buy Storm. But who really knows anything...these are all rumors. But if it is true about Columbia buying Storm...what am I going to do????? Haha... And you cant hate on Storm for pulling sponsorships when they were basically the only company doing it, or at least doing the most.

COLUMBIA SUCKS!

Hello,

Expect a 'press release' from us soon.  As of Storm is still our title sponsor.

Even if you happen to not care for a company's equipment, they're still sponsoring your tournament and contributing to your prize fund, so as long as you aren't forced to throw their stuff, you should still say nice things about them... just a thought...

Anyhow, that's all for now...

Thanks,
Jeff

what im saying is that we know who the best company is. they pour the pba balls, the elite series, and they even pour for the fasest growing company, as far as a following is concerned, which would be morich.

that company would be brunswick. these guys are crazy mad, they know there stuff and it would be sweet if they were to pick up the juniors as sponsors.

h3ll, they even make boats! or boat engines, something like that.

didnt mean to confuse you all.

Councilator,

Please stop your fabrications about Storm. They are not selling to Columbia, they do not use Columbia coverstock on their Paradigms and they do not have administrative problems. Storm is a very successful company and looks forward to 2006 and beyond....

If you want to spread bull%&$  pick another company or subject
